Skinner & T'witch

Drawing on music-hall and vaudeville traditions, Skinner & T’witch combine original comedy and satire with folk, flamenco and theatre-style songs. Their influences include Flanders and Swann, Jake Thackray, Noel Coward, Kurt Weill, Leonard Cohen, Bert Jansch, and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

Skinner & T'witch have released five albums; performed widely around the UK; and have toured in both Australia and the US.

Steve Skinner

Steve has a background in musical theatre, having managed a theatre company and toured the country with musical reviews as a professional songwriter, specialising in comedy and satire. Steve is also a multi-instrumentalist.

Sandra Twitchett (T'witch)

Sandra has a classical training, and has a passion for choral music, having herself sung with choirs including the Huddersfield Choral Society and the Munich Philharmonic Chorus. T'witch is a folk-rocker at heart. She has an excellent ear for sound production and harmony singing, which contributes to the distinctive Skinner & T’witch sound.'

‘Scapegoat’ is a cuttingly satirical song about the all-too-prevalent ‘let’s blame somebody else’ culture. The song will be released on 1st October and will feature on Skinner & T’witch’s second satirical album, Discovering the Pensioner Within, due for release in late 2027.
